Male hyperprolactinemia can be treated with 1.25 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day as needed, and gradually increased to 5 to 10 mg a day. The specific plan should be determined based on clinical efficacy and side effects. The recommended starting dose for acromegaly is 1.25 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day. According to clinical reactions and adverse reactions, gradually increase to 10 to 20 mg a day. For the first day of medication for lactation suppression and early postpartum mastitis, take 1.25 mg each morning and evening at breakfast and dinner, followed by 2.5 mg/time, twice a day, for 14 consecutive days. For lactation suppression, treatment should be started within a few hours after delivery or abortion to prevent lactation, but should not be started before vital signs stabilize. Occasionally, there will be a small amount of lactation 2-3 days after the treatment is stopped. At this time, the original dose can be used to repeat the treatment for 1 week. Antibiotics can be used in combination with postpartum mastitis under the guidance of a doctor. Prolactinoma 1.25 mg/time, 2 to 3 times a day, gradually increase to several tablets or capsules per day to ensure that the prolactin level in plasma is controlled. For people aged 11 to 17, the starting dose is 1.25 to 2.5 mg. The dose is gradually increased according to tolerance to control the prolactin level in plasma. The recommended maximum daily dose is 10 mg. For Parkinson’s disease, in order to obtain the best tolerance, it should start with a low dose of 1.25 mg per day, and it is recommended to take the medicine at night in the first week. The daily dose can be increased by 1.25 mg per week until the minimum effective dose. The daily dose can be taken in 2 to 3 times. If satisfactory efficacy is not achieved within 6 to 8 weeks, try to increase the daily dose by 2.5 mg per week. During the dose adjustment period, if adverse reactions occur, the dose should be reduced for at least one week; after the adverse reactions disappear, the dose should be increased as soon as possible. For those who develop movement disorders during levodopa treatment, the dose of levodopa should be reduced before using this product.
