Benazepril-Hydroflumethiazide

Benazepril and hydrochlorothiazide tablets are a compound preparation containing benazepril hydrochloride and hydrochlorothiazide. The former is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor that exerts its antihypertensive effect by inhibiting the physiological activity of angiotensin II, while the latter is a diuretic that can synergize with benazepril to exert its antihypertensive effect. Therefore, the two have a synergistic blood pressure lowering effect and are mainly used in clinical antihypertensive treatment of hypertension.
