Function and indication:
It is mainly used for various infections caused by sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections, including sepsis, meningitis, endocarditis, purulent pleurisy, peritonitis, and infections of the lower respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, bile duct, urinary tract, bone and soft tissue and reproductive organs, gynecological and obstetric infections, malignant external otitis, burns, skin and surgical infections, etc.
Usage and dosage:
Azlocillin sodium for injection: Dissolve each bottle of this drug with appropriate amount of injection water, add appropriate amount of 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose sodium chloride injection or 5-10% glucose injection, and drip intravenously. 1. Adults take 6-10g a day, and in severe cases it can be increased to 10-16g, generally divided into 2-4 drips. 2. Children take 75mg/kg once according to body weight, and infants and newborns take 100mg/kg once according to body weight, divided into 2-4 drips.
Adverse reactions:
1. Adverse reactions similar to penicillin, mainly allergic reactions (such as itching, urticaria, etc.). 2. Other reactions include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, prolonged bleeding time, leukopenia, etc. in some cases, and electrolyte disorders (hypernatremia) are less common.
Contraindications:
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to penicillin antibiotics.
