Azithromycin Tablets

Effects and efficacy: This product is suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia; skin and soft tissue infections; acute otitis media; upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis. It can be used for simple genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis in sexually transmitted diseases of men and women. It can also be used for simple genital infections caused by non-multi-drug resistant gonococci and chancroid caused by Haemophilus dukei (co-infection with Treponema pallidum must be excluded). Usage and dosage: Adult dosage for sexually transmitted diseases caused by Chlamydia trachomatis or sensitive Neisseria gonorrhoeae, a single oral dose of 1.0g. For the treatment of other infections: on the first day, once a day, 0.5g at a time, on the 2nd to 5th day, once a day, 0.25g at a time; or once a day, 0.5g at a time, for 3 consecutive days. Pediatric dosage: For the treatment of otitis media and pneumonia, take 10 mg/kg of body weight once on the first day (maximum daily dose not exceeding 0.5 g); take 5 mg/kg of body weight once daily on the second to fifth days (maximum daily dose not exceeding 0.25 g). Or administer as follows: For the treatment of pediatric pharyngitis and tonsillitis, take 12 mg/kg of body weight once a day (maximum daily dose not exceeding 0.5 g) for 5 consecutive days, or follow the doctor’s advice. Regardless of the infection, the recommended total dose of azithromycin in children is no more than 1500 mg. Note: Take 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. It can be taken with or without food, but it should not be taken with antacids containing aluminum or magnesium.
Adverse reactions:
Gastrointestinal reactions: abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, gastritis, black stools, cholestatic jaundice. Cardiovascular: palpitations, chest pain. Urogenital system: candidiasis, vaginitis and nephritis. Nervous system: dizziness, headache, vertigo and drowsiness. Systemic: fatigue. Allergy: rash, itching, photosensitivity reaction, angioedema. Adverse reactions related to intravenous injection include pain at the injection site, local inflammatory reaction, etc. If you experience any discomfort during medication, please consult a doctor in time.
