Anti-tumor drugs
Nelarabine is an anti-tumor drug, a purine analog, mainly used to treat relapsed or refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). It inhibits cancer cell DNA synthesis and prevents tumor cell proliferation, and is one of the key drugs in chemotherapy.

1. Mechanism of action
Nelarabine is converted into active metabolites in the body, integrated into cancer cell DNA, interferes with DNA chain extension and repair, and ultimately leads to cancer cell apoptosis. Its main target is the rapidly proliferating cells that rely on the purine synthesis pathway, and has relatively little effect on normal cells.

2. Indications and use
Applicable population:
Adults and children with relapsed/refractory T-ALL or T-LBL;
Alternative options when other treatment options are ineffective.
‌Dosage: Administered by intravenous injection, it must be performed in a professional medical institution, and the course and dosage must be strictly followed the doctor’s instructions.
3. Common side effects
‌Blood system: anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia;
‌Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea;
‌Nervous system: headache, drowsiness, confusion or epilepsy in a few cases;
‌Others: fatigue, fever or abnormal liver function.
If severe allergies (such as dyspnea, rash) or persistent neurological symptoms occur, the drug should be discontinued immediately and medical attention should be sought.
4. Precautions
‌Contraindicated groups: People who are allergic to drug ingredients, patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction, pregnant women and lactating women;
‌Monitoring requirements: Regular blood routine, liver and kidney function and nervous system status should be checked during treatment;
‌Drug interactions: When used in combination with other immunosuppressants or chemotherapy drugs, toxicity may increase, requiring doctor’s evaluation;
