Effects and efficacy:
Used for the expectoration treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, bronchiectasis and tracheal asthma. Injection can be used to prevent postoperative pulmonary complications and treat respiratory distress syndrome in premature infants and newborns.
Usage and dosage:
Injection medication for adults and children over 12 years old: 2 to 3 times a day, 15 mg each time, slow intravenous infusion; severe cases can be increased to 30 mg each time. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Children aged 6 to 12 years old: 2 to 3 times a day, 15 mg each time; children aged 2 to 6 years old: 3 times a day, 7.5 mg each time; children under 2 years old: 2 times a day, 7.5 mg each time. Treatment of infant respiratory distress syndrome (IRDS): The total daily medication is calculated based on the weight of the infant, 30 mg/kg, and administered in 4 doses. A syringe pump should be used for administration, and the intravenous injection time should be at least 5 minutes. Note: This injection can also be mixed with normal saline or compound sodium chloride injection for intravenous drip. Studies have confirmed the stability of these mixtures within the concentration range of 0.03-0.34 mg/ml. The mixtures can be stored at room temperature for 24 hours and must be used during this period. If the above solutions are not available, 5% glucose solution can also be selected as an alternative. In this case, the resulting solution must be used immediately. Please consult a doctor for details. Oral tablets or capsules Tablets/capsules: Take after meals. Adults 30 mg each time, 3 times a day. Long-term use can be reduced to 2 times a day. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Sustained-release capsules/sustained-release tablets: Take after meals. Adults 75 mg each time, once a day. Dispersible tablets: Take with liquid after meals. Adults 30 mg each time (3 times a day) or 60 mg each time (2 times a day); the recommended dose for children is 1.2-1.6 mg/kg per person based on body weight. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Orally disintegrating tablets: Place the product on the tongue when taking the medicine. No water or chewing is required. The product can disintegrate quickly and be swallowed into the stomach with saliva. Adults and children over 12 years old 30 mg each time, 3 times a day. Take after meals. Effervescent tablets: Dissolve in warm water and take orally. Adults: 30~60mg once, 3 times a day; children aged 6~12 years: 30mg once, 2~3 times a day. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Granules Adults and children over 12 years old: 30mg each time, 3 times a day for the first 2~3 days. 30mg each time, 2 times a day thereafter. Dissolve in room temperature water and take after meals. Children aged 6~12 years old: 15mg each time, 2~3 times a day (equivalent to 30~45mg of ambroxol hydrochloride taken orally every day). Children aged 2~5 years old: 7.5mg each time, 3 times a day (equivalent to 22.5mg of ambroxol hydrochloride taken orally every day). Children under 2 years old: 7.5mg each time, 2 times a day (equivalent to 15mg of ambroxol hydrochloride taken orally every day). Oral solution (preferably taken at mealtime) Adults and children over 12 years old: 10ml each time, 2 times a day. Children aged 6-12 years: 5 ml each time, 2-3 times a day; children aged 2-6 years: 2.5 ml each time, 3 times a day; children aged 1-2 years: 2.5 ml each time, 2 times a day. Ambroxol hydrochloride syrup (preferably taken at mealtime) Adults and children over 12 years old: 10 ml (2 tablespoons) each time, 2 times a day. Children under 12 years old are recommended to use the following therapeutic doses according to their condition: 6-12 years old children, 5 ml (1 tablespoon) each time, 2-3 times a day; 2-6 years old children, 2.5 ml (1/2 tablespoon) each time, 3 times a day; 1-2 years old children, 2.5 ml (1/2 tablespoon) each time, 2 times a day. This usage is appropriate for the treatment of acute respiratory diseases and the initial treatment of chronic diseases. The dose can be halved after 14 days. Ambroxol hydrochloride solution for inhalation Children over 12 years old and adults: 2-3 ml each time, inhaled 1-2 times a day (15mg-45mg per day). Children aged 2-12 years: 2 ml each time, inhaled 1-2 times a day (15mg-30mg per day). Children aged 6 months-2 years: 1 ml each time, inhaled 1-2 times a day (7.5mg-15mg per day). Note: The recommended medication cycle of this product is 7 days. The specific use time can be followed by the doctor’s advice and should be extended or shortened according to the patient’s symptoms.
