Effects and efficacy:
For Parkinson’s disease, Parkinson’s syndrome, and drug-induced extrapyramidal disorders. It can be used for Parkinson’s syndrome after carbon monoxide poisoning and Parkinson’s syndrome in the elderly with cerebral arteriosclerosis. It can also be used to prevent and treat respiratory infections caused by influenza A virus.
Usage and dosage:
Amantadine hydrochloride tablets and amantadine hydrochloride capsules: Oral medication for Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s syndrome: 100 mg once, 1-2 times a day, and the maximum daily dose is 400 mg. For antiviral use: Adults take 200 mg once a day or 100 mg once every 12 hours. Children aged 1-9 years old take 1.5-3 mg/kg once every 8 hours, or 2.2-4.4 mg/kg once every 12 hours. Children aged 9-12 years old, take 100 mg orally every 12 hours. For children aged 12 years and above, the dosage is the same as that for adults. Amantadine hydrochloride granules: Oral medication. For children aged 1-9 years, 1.5-3mg/kg every 8 hours, and the daily dose shall not exceed 150mg. For children over 9 years old, 100mg once, once every 12 hours. Take with warm water. Amantadine hydrochloride syrup: Oral. Twice a day. The dosage for each dose is as follows: 1-2 years old: 4-5ml. 6-9 years old: 8-10ml. 2-4 years old: 5-7ml. 9-14 years old: 10-14ml. 4-6 years old: 7-8ml. Note: Children’s medication must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor and adult supervision. Be sure to use this drug under the guidance of a doctor. It is not advisable to drive a vehicle, operate machinery, or work at height during medication. The last dose of the drug should be taken before 4 pm to avoid insomnia.
Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited. It is prohibited for newborns. It is prohibited to drive during lactation. It is prohibited to use during pregnancy. Use with caution in case of renal impairment.
