Effects and efficacy:
Albendazole is mainly used to treat hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, pinworms, trichinosis and other nematode diseases, and can also be used to treat cysticercosis and echinococcosis. This product can also be used for deworming of livestock.

Usage and dosage:
Albendazole is mainly used orally. The specific dosage varies according to the disease and population. It must be followed according to the doctor’s instructions. The general usage is as follows. The common dosage for adults is 0.4g for roundworm and pinworm diseases. Hookworm disease and whipworm disease, 0.4g once, twice a day, for 3 consecutive days. Trichinosis, 0.4g once, twice a day, for 7 consecutive days. Cysticercosis, 20mg/kg per day, divided into 3 times for oral administration, 10 days as a course of treatment, generally 1 to 3 courses of treatment are required. The interval between courses depends on the condition, mostly 3 months. For echinococcosis, take 20 mg/kg per day, divided into 2 oral doses, for a course of 1 month. Generally, more than 5 courses are required, with an interval of 7 to 10 days between courses. The dosage for children under 12 years old and for children over 2 years old is halved.
