Excerpt	Roxadustat capsule is a capsule preparation with roxadustat as the main ingredient, which has the effect of increasing the body's erythropoietin (EPO) level. It is mainly used to treat anemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD), including dialysis and non-dialysis patients. Roxadustat is a hypoxia-inducible factor-prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor. Roxadustat can inhibit prolyl hydroxylases PHD1, PHD2, and PHD3 in vitro, and can lead to rapid and reversible activation of hypoxia-inducible factor-α (HIF-α) in Hep3B cell line derivative 1G6 cells, which can induce an increase in Hep3B cell erythropoietin (EPO) levels.
