Excerpt	Effects and Benefits: Monolavir is used to treat novel coronavirus infection. Dosage and Administration: This product is available as an oral capsule. Patients can take Mononavir capsules on an empty stomach or with food. The recommended dose for adults is 0.8g (4 0.2g capsules) orally every 12 hours for 5 consecutive days. Adult patients with increased risk factors for developing severe COVID-19 should take Mononavir as soon as possible within 5 days of COVID-19 diagnosis and symptom onset. If hospitalization is required before completing the 5-day course of Mononavir, the full 5-day course can be completed at the discretion of the healthcare provider.
