Effects and efficacy: Applicable to septicemia, upper urinary tract and complicated urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, biliary tract infections, abdominal infections, pelvic infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter. Usage and dosage: Adults with moderate infection should take 8g a day, divided into 2 intravenous drips; severe infection should take 3-4g once, intravenously drip or inject every 4-6 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 24g. Infants and children under 12 years old should take 100-200mg/kg per day according to body weight. For newborns weighing less than 2kg, take 50mg/kg by intravenous drip every 12 hours in the first week after birth; 50mg/kg from the second week onwards, once every 8 hours. For newborns weighing more than 2kg, take 50mg/kg by intravenous drip every 8 hours in the first week after birth; for those weighing more than 1 week, take 50mg/kg every 6 hours. Adverse reactions: Allergic reactions: Allergic reactions to penicillins are common, including urticaria and other types of rashes, leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attacks and serum sickness reactions. In severe cases, anaphylactic shock is occasionally seen. Once anaphylactic shock occurs, emergency treatment must be given on the spot, and treatment measures such as maintaining airway patency, oxygen inhalation, and administration of epinephrine and glucocorticoids are given. Local symptoms: pain at the local injection site, thrombophlebitis, etc. Gastrointestinal symptoms: diarrhea, loose stools, nausea, vomiting, etc.; pseudomembranous colitis is rare. Some patients may experience cholestatic jaundice. Central nervous system symptoms: headache, dizziness, and fatigue. When a large dose is used in patients with renal impairment, penicillin encephalopathy may occur due to increased cerebrospinal fluid concentration, so the dose should be adjusted according to renal function at this time. Some patients may have elevated serum aminotransferase, blood urea nitrogen, and creatinine. Drug contraindications: Allergic to this product is prohibited. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
