Effects and efficacy: Fluorometholone eye drops are used to treat inflammation of the external eye and anterior eye tissues that are sensitive to corticosteroids, such as blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, scleritis, episcleritis, iritis, iridocyclitis, uveitis, and postoperative inflammation.
Usage and dosage: Fluorometholone eye drops are only for topical use. Shake well before use and drop into the conjunctival sac, 1 to 2 drops each time, 2 to 4 times a day. Within 24 to 48 hours after the start of treatment, the dose can be increased to once every 4 hours as appropriate. When using, avoid contact with the mouth of the medicine bottle and other parts of the eyes to cause contamination. If symptoms and signs do not improve after 2 days of medication, you should seek medical attention to re-evaluate your condition. Note: This product can be used in reduced doses according to the condition, but it is not advisable to stop treatment too early. In the case of long-term use, it is necessary to gradually reduce the dose and stop the drug. The preservative benzalkonium chloride in this product may cause eye irritation and discolor soft contact lenses. This product must be avoided from contact with soft contact lenses. Contact lenses must be removed before instilling this product. Wait at least 15 minutes after instillation before wearing contact lenses again. When using other ophthalmic products at the same time, they should be used 5 minutes before instilling this product.
