Effects and efficacy:
Thymosin alpha-sin can be used to treat chronic hepatitis B. It is used to enhance the body’s immunity and can enhance the immune response of immunocompromised patients to viral vaccines (such as influenza vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine).
Usage and dosage:
Before use, each bottle of thymosin alpha-sin (1.6 mg) is dissolved in 1 ml of water for injection and injected subcutaneously immediately. Note that it should not be injected intramuscularly or intravenously. For the treatment of chronic hepatitis B: The recommended dose is 1.6 mg each time, twice a week, with an interval of 3-4 days between the two times. Continuous administration for 6 months (a total of 52 injections) should not be interrupted. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. During treatment, liver function should be evaluated regularly, and serum ALT, albumin and bilirubin levels should be monitored; and hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg), hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), HBV-DNA and ALT levels should be tested at the end of treatment and 2, 4 and 6 months after the end of treatment to detect the patient’s recurrence in time. As a vaccine immune response enhancer for immunocompromised patients: 1.6 mg each time, twice a week, with an interval of 3-4 days between the two times.
