Effects and efficacy:
For the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria: urogenital system infections, including urinary tract infections, bacterial prostatitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis or cervicitis, etc.; respiratory tract infections, including acute exacerbation of bronchial infections and lung infections caused by sensitive Gram-negative bacilli; gastrointestinal infections, including those caused by Shigella, Salmonella, enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc.; typhoid fever; bone and joint infections; skin and soft tissue infections; complicated abdominal infections (usually used in combination with metronidazole); systemic infections such as sepsis; inhalation anthrax. Ciprofloxacin eye drops can be used for external eye infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, etc. Ciprofloxacin ear drops can be used for otitis media, external otitis, myringitis, and postoperative infection of the mastoid cavity caused by sensitive bacteria.
Dosage and Administration:
Conventional intravenous dosage: 0.4g once, once every 8-12 hours, intravenous drip, 7-14 days of treatment; bone and joint infections, chronic bacterial prostatitis and inhalation anthrax are appropriately extended to >4-6 weeks, 28 days and 60 days respectively. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Oral dosage: 0.5-0.75g once, once every 12 hours, oral medication, the course of treatment is the same as intravenous administration. Children: For inhalation anthrax, medication should be started as soon as possible after suspected or confirmed exposure. 10mg/kg (maximum single dose 0.4g) by body weight, once every 12 hours, intravenous drip; or 15mg/kg (maximum single dose 0.5g), once every 12 hours, oral medication, 60 days of treatment. Children’s medication must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor and adult supervision.
