Effects and efficacy:
Used to treat edematous diseases, including congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, kidney disease (nephritis, nephropathy and acute and chronic renal failure caused by various reasons), especially when other diuretics (such as furosemide) are ineffective, this type of drug may still be effective; it can also be used in combination with other drugs to treat acute pulmonary edema and acute cerebral edema. Used to treat hypertension. In the step therapy of hypertension, this product is not the first choice for the treatment of essential hypertension. However, when thiazide drugs are ineffective, especially when accompanied by renal insufficiency or hypertensive crisis, this type of drug is particularly suitable. Used to prevent acute renal failure, it can be used for various reasons leading to insufficient renal blood perfusion, such as dehydration, shock, poisoning, anesthesia accidents and circulatory insufficiency. Timely use of this product while correcting insufficient blood volume can reduce the chance of acute tubular necrosis. Used for hyperkalemia and hypercalcemia. Used for dilutional hyponatremia, especially when the blood sodium concentration is lower than 120mmol/L. Used for hypersecretion of antidiuretic hormone (SIADH). Used for acute drug or poison poisoning, such as barbiturate poisoning. Bumetanide may still be effective in some cases where furosemide is ineffective.
