Fluoxetine hydrochloride
Effects:
Fluoxetine hydrochloride is mainly used to treat various depressive mental disorders, including mild or severe depression, depression in bipolar disorder, psychogenic depression and depressive neurosis; it can also be used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, bulimia and premenstrual tension disorder.
Usage and dosage:
The starting dose for adults is 20 mg per day, preferably taken after breakfast. If the effect is not obvious after several weeks, 20 mg can be increased every week. The usual effective therapeutic dose is 20-40 mg once a day, and the maximum dose should not exceed 60 mg per day. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. The elderly should increase the dosage with caution, and the daily dose should not exceed 40 mg. The recommended maximum daily dose is 60 mg. Patients with impaired liver function should reduce the dosage or reduce the frequency of administration (such as 20 mg every 2 days). Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Note: During medication, pay attention to monitoring the patient’s weight and other physical signs, and diabetic patients should monitor blood sugar; patients with risk factors for QT prolongation and ventricular arrhythmia should monitor the electrocardiogram regularly during medication.
Contraindications:
