Effects and efficacy:
Norepinephrine bitartrate can be used to treat diseases with a sharp drop in blood pressure, such as cardiogenic shock, overdose of anesthesia, hemorrhagic shock, heart failure, toxic shock and other critical and severe diseases.
Usage and dosage:
Diluted with 5% glucose injection or glucose sodium chloride injection and dripped intravenously. The usual dose for adults starts with a drip rate of 8-12μg per minute, and the drip rate is adjusted to achieve the ideal blood pressure level; the maintenance dose is 2-4μg per minute. If necessary, the above dose can be exceeded according to the doctor’s instructions, but attention should be paid to maintaining or replenishing blood volume. The usual dose for children starts with a drip rate of 0.02-0.1μg/kg per minute according to body weight, and the drip rate is adjusted as needed.
